I can't believe it's already time for the April 2017 Sephora Sale! I've been on a cruise the past week   (which was amazing! check out my Instagram for photos) but thankfully I'm back for most of the sale. I've been trying a lot of new beauty products lately and found some new HG's that I thought I would share with everyone.  Keep reading for my skincare and makeup recommendations...
Sephora Sale 2017 dates and promo codes:
  • VIB Rouge:  15% off using code "ROUGESPRING" April 18 - 24th 2017
  • VIB: 15% off using code "VIBSPRING" April 19 - 24th 2017
  • Beauty Insider: 10% off using code "BISPRING" April 20 - 23rd  2017
Skincare:
  • Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit $32 ($132 value) - this new value set contains 15 mini sunscreens, bronze, self-tanning products and includes a cute orange travel bag...best part is that Sephora donates $20 to The Skin Cancer Foundation from every purchase! UPDATE: this 2017 product shown in the photo above is now sold out, but the 2016 version is available for purchase via the link above
  • Sunday Riley Sunday School Skincare Set $60 ($85 value) - this new value set includes 4 products total; 2 best-sellers and 2 newer skincare items
  • Sephora Favorites Quench Your Skin $39 on sale ($88 value) - this value set contains 10 mini best-selling moisturizers...a great way to sample different brands and products to find the perfect moisturizer for your face
  • Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb $22 to $38 - I've been loving this lightweight gel moisturizer for combo to oily skin. If you have dry skin, I would recommend the Belif The Truth Cream Moisturizing Bomb
  • Kate Somerville EradiKate Daily Cleanser Acne Treatment $38 for 4oz - if you love her original  ExfoliKate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash, you'll love this new anti-acne one that contains 3% sulfur for fighting blemishes
Makeup:
  • GLAMGLOW GLOWSETTER Makeup Setting Spray $32 for 3.7oz - this is my new favorite setting spray! It's more of a mist, super refreshing, smells amazing, doesn't irritate the skin or eyes, doesn't feel heavy when applying, is long-lasting, adds a subtle glow, would definitely recommend! UPDATE: now it comes in a mini version that's 0.95oz for $16!
  • Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder $26 for 0.14oz - my new favorite way to set my under-eye area! I recently switched from her translucent powder to this and have been loving the brightening effect it has under my eyes
  • NARS Velvet Matte Pencil in Do Me Baby $27 - this chesnut rose shade is beautiful and would flatter any skin tone
  • Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer $15 to $32 - I've been loving this moisturizing coconut-scented primer and the travel size ($15 for 0.68oz) has lasted me months
  • Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder $42 for 0.26oz - I raved about this natural-looking highlight in my last blog post, would definitely recommend!
These are just some of the new products I've been loving lately. If you're interested in my all-time favorite products from 2016 that I would recommend, check out my "Best of Beauty" blog post here.

I was thinking of getting tge GlamGlow face setting spray. Does it keep makeup true to color? Have you ever tried Algenist?

Hi Jessica! Yes, it does. They actually just came out with a mini version that's only $16 at sephora if you want to try it out. I have not tried Algenist. Just Urban Decay and MAC setting sprays.

Ahh I need to check out that makeup setting spray from Glamglow - maybe I will get the small size that you mentioned! I LOVE that Laura Mercier highlighter too!

Great recommendations, Kristin! The Sephora sale is dangerous but a great opportunity to stock up and try new products. Good Genes is one of my holy grail items, I always repurchase it. You'll have to keep us posted about the CEO cream, I'm eyeing it as well!
