When I first saw this on NARS Instagram page, I almost had a heart attack. ANOTHER amazing NARS palette I would have to add to my collection. I told myself that I couldn't purchase it until the Sephora VIB Rouge 20% off sale in November...(ya right!). Ya that lasted for about a month. After seeing it all over Instagram the past month, I finally gave in and decided to purchase it. I seriously have no self control when it comes to NARS or really new makeup in general or limited edition products. So basically I have zero self control. Wow, thank you Influenster! I'm shocked that I received the Giorgio Armani Beauty Smoky Neutrals Eye Tints and Eccentrico Mascara Vox Box. Did not expect that! Giorgio Armani is such an amazing high-end beauty brand so I'm super excited to try out these products and review them. 

As most of you know, I'm an Optometry student so when I found out this month's box was going to be called "The Eye Openers", I became so excited to see what was inside!   

 As soon as I watched Jaclyn Hill's Ride or Die Makeup Tag youtube video, I knew I was going to have to participate. MAC Amorous is my go-to lipstick for night time. I've loved it for years and it never lets me down. This 'satin lovestruck cranberry' shade is just beautiful and always seems to bring out my blue eyes. I'm a total creature of habit and always end up buying similar lipstick shades on accident (even though I could justify that each one is different I swear!!!!) so in the past couple months I've purchased two more lipsticks that seem to be dupes for MAC Amorous...

I've heard of the lipstick Bond Girl for awhile now. It's been on my list of makeup products to try for probably the past year. When Charlotte Tilbury came out with the new Hot Lips collection and I saw the Secret Salma shade all over instagram, I decided to go into the makeup counter at Nordstrom and finally try out all these lipsticks. Unfortunately Secret Salma was a little more pink on my lips than I wanted. I was disappointed considering I really thought this would be my new everyday shade. But then, I tried Bond Girl. And it was like the planets aligned and angels starting singing...

Being an Optometry student, I know that eye health and lid hygiene is SO important! Bacteria and demodex mites build up on your lashes and eyelids, which causes inflammation and infection of your eyes. Just soap and water (or even baby shampoo) do NOT effectively clean your eyes or kill these bugs. Tea tree oil is known to have antibacterial properties and helps kill the bacteria and demodex mites.
