I was so excited to hear that my favorite lipstick brand, Bite Beauty, released a new line of products called Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip! How does this compare to the original Amuse Bouche Lipstick? Keep reading to find out...
The Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip is high-pigmented, creamy and has a satin finish. It claims to be the liquified version of the Amuse Bouche Lipstick formula (but with new shades), which I agree with. It does not dry completely matte and is transferrable, but is so comfortable on the lips. It comes in 20 brand new shades, retails for $24 at Sephora and contains 0.25 oz of product.

I purchased the shade Chutney, which is a "rich mauve". My favorite everyday lipstick is the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Pepper (read my review here), so I mainly wanted to purchase Chutney to see how similar they were and to have a liquified version. After swatching both below on my arm, they do look pretty similar in color. Chutney is definitely more glossy as it is supposed to be, but just as pigmented. I noticed that Chutney looked a little darker on my lips compared to Pepper though, depending on the lighting. The new Liquified Lip formula is very comfortable and moisturizing on the lips, just as the Lipstick formula is. I don't think the new Liquified Lip is as long-lasting though, since it doesn't dry down and transfers. They have the same vanilla scent. I would say if you like the Lipstick formula and want a glossier version and don't mind if it transfers, you would like the Liquified Lip formula. Chutney was the only shade that caught my eye immediately. I found it kind of confusing that they did not come out with the same exact shades as in their Lipstick line (same goes with their Lip Pencils), so then if you are trying to match a similar shade to the Lipstick, you have to do more work to figure it out, but that's okay. (Exception: Cava is the only Liquified Lip shade that is the same as the Lipstick, but is only available for Sephora VIB Rouge members right now). Overall, I would recommend the new Liquified Lip and the shade Chutney!
