You all know I love warm-toned eyeshadows and I've also been a fan of Laura Lee for awhile now so this was an easy purchase for me. I'm actually not a huge purple fan though so when I first saw the palette I was like oh crap half of the shades look purple, but after seeing swatches they ended up being so pretty, different from each other and complimentary at the same time that it inspired me to branch out and create more fall burgundy looks. I love that there's a mix of matte and shimmer shades including a transition shade, a highlight/browbone/inner corner shade and a matte black.
The formula is truly amazing. They are highly pigmented, but yet easy to blend. It looks like she figured out the perfect formula. This palette is perfect for beginners and even advanced make up artists. I definitely think it's worth the $40 and I can't wait for the rest of her makeup line to come out soon. If you want to know more about the palette, check out Laura Lee's YouTube video, where she talks about her palette and includes a tutorial.
