There's not much that makes me happier than receiving packages. You could call me an online shopping addict. Seriously though my family thinks I have a problem...There's something about tracking and receiving a package on my doorstep that just brightens my day. So when I found out about a year ago that my favorite beauty store, Sephora, was starting a subscription box called Play, I was SO excited...
At that time it was only available in select markets and mine was not one of them so I joined the waitlist. I waited and waited and waited for probably six months. I even signed up my boyfriend and parents too just to increase the chances of getting off the waitlist. Surprisingly, my boyfriend got off the waitlist first and was the only person to get off. I just found that hilarious. The same day though there was this special sign up with no waitlist required so I ended up being able to sign up through that. I have received 3 months of Sephora Play and have loved each box! I totally think it's worth the $10/month (Sign up here). I used to subscribe to Allure's Beauty Box which was $15/month and just found the products to be inconsistent for my taste and not worth the money. (Except that last box, WOW what great products!) Sephora's Play products are brands I normally buy anyways so it was a win-win.
I have super straight fine longggg natural blonde hair. Lots of adjectives I know haha. So my point is that wave products don't usually work on my hair and even when I do curl it with a curling iron, it falls out after a couple hours with a ton of hairspray. I've always wanted those beachy waves but was never able to accomplish it. Remember scrunching? Ya, my hair always looked like a hard rats nest with random kinks when I would try that. No bueno. So I'm super excited to try The Ouai Wave Spray ($26 for 5oz). I'll let you guys know how well it works and what I think.
